Square Circle meet on a Wednesday afternoon at 2.30pm in East Budleigh Church Hall. All knitters are welcome to make squares or garments forCR2EE.
You may have noticed that the weathervane is missing from All Saints church tower. It has been taken down so that the re-gilding work can be done, using funds raised by the Friends of All Saints during 2016. This work is a requirement following the Quinquennial Report about the church. The photographs below, of the cock, and the back of the letter "N" show why the work is needed.
With an rapt audience of more than 80 people David White made a great start to the Friends of All Saints' series of autumn talks, and the evening raised around £300 towards the annual target of £4,500. Click here to read more.
Come to East Budleigh Village Hall at 7.30pm to see David's wonderful photographs hear him talk about local wildlife. This is a new talk - and those who have been to David's previous talks will know we are in for a real treat. Tickets £3 or £2 for Friends of All Saints East Budleigh; under 12s free. Light refreshments will be available.
There will be an additional Holy Communion Service at All Saints East Budleigh on 17th September 2017 at 10am.

Only one application has been received, so the post will be advertised in the Church Times on 10th and 17th March, with a new interview date of Wednesday 26th April. In the meantime the Archdeacon has informed us that they are letting the Vicarage in Budleigh Salterton for six months.
Bishop Sarah will be licencing Annita to the Sidmouth Team at Sidmouth Parish Church on Sunday 26th February at 6pm and will be a Eucharist. You are all are very welcome to join the service and there will be refreshments served after the service. Please put this date in your diaries and come along if you can to say a belated but proper farewell to Annita.
The World Day of Prayer is an international ecumenical Christian laywomen's initiative. It is run under the motto “Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action,” and is celebrated annually in over 170 countries on the first Friday in March (3rd March 2017).
The Budleigh Service will be held at 3pm in the Temple Methodist Church. It will be followed by refreshments. Please do come along.

The 2017 Lent Lectures are based on a book called ‘Living Faithfully’ by John Pritchard which deals with contemporary issues that face us all in the 21st century.
Led by a different minister from the Churches Partnership each week, there is no need to buy the book but should you want to it is available on Amazon for £9.99 new and from 1p plus postage second hand.
The lectures will run weekly from 8th March, with two opportunities to attend each lecture:- 10.30a.m in the Methodist Church Hall and Wednesday evening 7.30 p.m at St Peter’s Church.
