On Wednesday 1st Nov at All Saints Church we celebrated All Saints Day with the traditional “Bun Day” Service. It was a delight to be joined by children and adults from Little Otters, Drakes Primary School, Mill Water School and Bicton College. There was great excitement as everyone watched the buns descend from the top of the bell tower! On Sunday at 10am (5th Nov) there will be an informal All Saints Day service at All Saints Church, East Budleigh to celebrate how God is working to make his saints more like Jesus. Everyone is welcome to attend – but the refreshments will not be thrown from the top of the tower!
At 10.50am services begin simultaneously at the War Memorial and in All Saints Church. At both services there will be hymns, prayers and the Act of Remembrance with 2 minutes silence. Wreaths will be laid at the War Memorial by the Royal British Legion and representatives of the younger generation. Those at the War Memorial will move into the church to join in the remainder of the service there.
